Members Not Serial Posted February 11, 2007 Members Share Posted February 11, 2007 i dont know if it was a rerun or not. last night. the band sounded great, i couldnt beleive how good the mix was. i do not like that band, but the sound was killer. i asked this in another thread, but does anyone know what vox mic they were using? i want one. i couldnt get a good look at it but it looked like an 86. didnt sound like an 86 though. Members Not Serial Posted February 12, 2007 Author Members Share Posted February 12, 2007 sorry i couldnt remember until the poster above said kieth urban. yep thats who it was. see, i originally thought it was an 87 series but the one or two close looks i got at it something seemed different. the ball sure looked like an 86/87 but something about the body confused me. the clips looked similar to the ones on the 81's here so at first i thought shure, but they could have used any clip on any mic as far as i know. i may have to relook at those mics. i've had a lot of issues with bands using them, because they insist on placing the wedge in the traditional spot in front of the stand, back of the mic pointed right at the wedge.
