have you tried whisper screaming into a harmony processor ? even a chromatic type correction setting will be effective. you can gain it up, if the level is not achieveable. reverbs and compression are really important.

 

i watched a demo of guys using programmed decoders. amazing what coders can do. even with a kids whisper

 

for higher pitch try increasing the speed of your master recording. i did this to a track when purposefully played slow. it came out crisp.
