Members Jess
I have a pair of JBL jrx self powered 18" active subs which are internally crossed over at 120 hz and they have a hpf so as to run a set of active self powered 12" boxes off. I usually come from the desk into the subs then out of the subs through the HPF set at 120hz fixed. This up to now has sounded fine but i am wanting to have separate volume control over the subs and mains. Is there a way to do this while still using the internal crossover in the subs?. I have also just purchased a active crossover to try and fine tune the crossover point between subs and tops but it seems to me that this maybe overkill if i already have internal crossovers in the subs. This is slowly driving me mad so i need some suggestions as to what road to take. Thanx in advance.... Jess.
Members GCDEF
You'll need to use the active crossover to change the crossover point and adjust the volume levels separately.
Members guitarharv52
I am certainly not the most knowledgeable person here but it seems that since you already bought the active crossover it would take care of your needs and give the bottom control you want.
