Does the 1000 sound better since the cab is wood and running a tri-amp system? The website says 'up to 300 people' but that seems ambitious. Members Al Poulin Posted March 8, 2007 Members Share Posted March 8, 2007 Depending on the use.... For a full band with mic'd kick, the excursion would be a better choice because of the sub. For an acoustic duo, it's hard to beat the fantastic sound of the NX55Ps. For a band that already has subs, the NX55Ps would make great FOH cabs great as they perform much better (especially at high volumes) when subs are present. Al - Party-Time!
