Members agedhorse
Better have some good soldering skills, there's not much space or slack and the 28ga wire is a challange. If you don't, be sure to get some help from an experienced tech as a botched up job can mean an unrepairable mic. Shouldn't cost more than $10 for a good tech to spend a couple munutes taking care of it correctly.

Members TRevMFB
i'll make it easier... does the green wire connect to prong a or b???
Members agedhorse
Easy?... there is no prong A OR B !!! Even wierder, there is no green wire in a 58, you have a choice of red and blue. BLUE = pin 2RED = pin 3 There is a possibility that you have an early impedance switchable 58, but those are very uncommon. By chance do you mean the connections to the cartridge? There should be a green and yellow wire, green goes to terminal A. Be VERY quick with your solder job. Good luck.
