Members Westsailor
I've been using the FX onboard my Alesis MultiMix 12 FX. While nice, it's pretty limited and now I'm interested in upgrading. I'm not interested in pitch correction, harmonies, 'Cyborg' sounds, etc. Just your basic but quality delay, reverb, compressor/limiter, etc. What I don't want is the 'chinese menu' problem of having everything there, onboard, but only being limited to one effect (e.g. a delay or reverb or compression, but not in combination). Anyone have any tips for what I should avoid/look for (dual engine, etc.) and/or a suggestion for a 'signal processor' that would be ideal for a Funk/Rock/Pop cover trio? Oh, and we don't have a lot of money either
Members dboomer
I'd look for units that can do multiple effects in PARALLEL not just in series.
Members modulusman
I use a lexicon mx200. Two processors in one, sounds good and costs about $200.00.
Members boomerweps
TC Electronics M300 used or M350 new. Easy to use, even without looking at the manual. I shifted to using two Lexicon MPX200s a while back. Nice FX but NOT simple to use without refering to the manual OFTEN. Boomerweps
