Members D Aussie
I made myself a home made A/B switch box.Its in a naff metal case and Ive painted it.Pretty pleased with my handiwork. Now.. how do I go about labeling the device? Are there pre made letter sets or something to label your "IN" and "OUT"I was thinking of those old Letraset kits we used to have in the olden days before computers. Members Ear Abuser
There is something called decal paper you could try. You print on the paper with a computer printer, then soak it in water and the printing comes off along with a transparent background. (If you ever made model cars, you know what I'm talkign about.) I've used it a few times, and once you get the hang of it it works pretty well. You need to give it a coat of clear laquer when you're done to protect it. Members Mogwix
I take metal boxes to an engraver after they've been painted, then I give it a clear top-coat so the engraved bit doesn't rust. (unless the box is aluminum) Either that or I'll just take a fine paint brush and some white paint and scribble the labels on in some artsy fashion.
