Members flanc
I saw some folks looking for mic stands. At $29.99, this is a pretty good deal. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/stupid
Members W. M. Hellinger
If you need the boom arm too, purchased seperately the boom arm appears to be $33.95 http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/KM-Telescopic-Boom-Arm?sku=450475 ... so $29.99 (stand) + 33.95 (boom arm) = $63.94 It appears that the stand complete with boom arm is available for $59.95: http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/KM-Mic-Stand-with-Boom-Arm?sku=450482
Members MrJoshua
I could be wrong, but it looks like the boom in your link is the telescopic boom, while the boom stand is just a normal fixed-length boom. The stand with telescopic boom goes for $82.95. http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/KM-Microphone-Stand-with-Telescopic-Boom-Arm?sku=450483

I can't find the regular fixed length boom arm on the site to make an apples-apples comparison... looks like the tele-boom is the only model of boom arm sold separately? (that could dress-up a naked tripod stand... as I've found that naked tripod mic stands are of very limited use) Personally... I prefer the regular fixed length boom arm for most applications. The fixed length arm can be adjusted (slide) within the pivot head... generally offering sufficient adjustment for most applications. Those tele-booms are nice in select applications, but it's more stuff to fall apart... the set-screw for the tele-lock seems especially susceptible to the laws of entropy. Members Gadget
MUCH better deal:http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ultimate-Support-MC40-Mic-Stand-Boom-Package?sku=450571 If I'm not mistaken, that Ultimate stand has a resin base and is very lightweight. Don't expect it to stand up to much abuse. I love K&M stands but also have three of these Atlas TEB-E http://www.fullcompass.com/product/259395.html. They are very solidly built.
