Members Rad Skronker
Currently using a Mackie CFX 20. It is barely adequate for the new show we are doing. Need a board with 4 aux sends, input metering on each channel, and good mic pre's, 24 ch.'s Anybody had experience with the Mackie Onyx or Allen and Heath? Any suggestions of other brands are welcome. If you have any experience with either of these mixers, could you please post about them. thanx in advance. Members samkokajko
I think you'll see a lot of suggestions of the GL2400-24 console. I've used them and their sibling a lot and they are solid consoles.
Members Crownman
My question would be, what's your budget ceiling for this?
Members bassred
The GL2400 is a great little board for the money! Plenty of routing options in a nice and easy to use board. I would not recommend the Mackie stuff, if you are upgrading, really upgrade. don't side-step. never a good move. The metering per channel is what is going to kill you. Unless you get something with a full meter bridge, the little channel meters on the A-H are as close as youget in a reasonable price market.
