Members tsaldana3
Am I safe connecting these in a 20 amp circuit? 4 American DJ LED Par 56 cans (.8 amps in the 4) 1 American DJ LS50 B Light tree. ( Around 1.3 amps per light. So 5.2 amps in the whole tree.) 1 QSC HPR 122i ( 1.5 Amps) 1 Yorkville ( 1.2 Amps) 2 Behringer B212 A ( Around 1 amp each speaker, so 2 amps total) That's a little less than 11 amps... Am I safe? Members imnotded
The breaker is there to keep it safe. If you pop the breaker, you're pulling too much. That might hurt your equipment if you were pulling too low amps for a period of time, but it looks like you would be fine.

Members jwlussow
Not possible. Now we are underpowering speakers and lights?
Members Unalaska
All the equipment would be fine, not "starved" in any way. To me I need to have a rig that runs off 1 20amp circut sometimes, including lights. Some of the private gigs i do AC is really scarce. Makes me glad I'm not always dragging in huge amps and light shows.

Members srp72ee
Now we are underpowering speakers and lights? Better power the lights from 480V and run dimmers.
