Warwick Thumb Bolt On

Carl Thompson 6 string (rarely used at gigs)

Line 6 Bass PODxt Pro w/ floorboard

Here is a pic of my stage rack. 2 Line 6 PODxt Pros, Bass PODxt Pro, 3 AT3000 wireless mics, 3 Shure PSM200 transmitters, Crown K1. That handles all guitars, mics and monitors. This, the Line 6 floorboards and the drummers TD-20 kit is all we have onstage.

Curious to see what Mark uses. As a guy who has a stake is SERIOUS PA system, I would expect nothing but the best. But, as a practical down to earth, meat and potatoes kinda guy, I expect a P Bass and an old Showman or maybe an Ampeg. (I could see him with a flip top pretty easily....)

Show us the goods Mark!

The amps seem pretty much what I expected. Old school....like me.

eh... They're paid for and deliver acceptable results. Admittedly, by today's standards they're arguably big & heavy... but when packing a few tons of PA gear and lighting, the couple hundred pounds of bass rig seems trivial. I'm set up for dealing with the tonnage, and am selective about the gigs I play. I'm hesitant to acquire a bass rig that I could single handedly carry up a flight of stairs because then I might be tempted to take on a gig that's up a flight of stairs... and there's all that other stuff.

Damn, I had one of those until it got misplaced in my latest move about 8 years ago
:(
. Seemed to make any old power amp sound great
:)
.

I've been using it since around 1980. Back then I had a QSC 1401 power amp IIRC. Never heard of QSC back then but the soundman we were using convinced me it was a good amp. I finally upgraded from the 1401 a few years ago and it was still working perfectly. Every now and then I get a jones to replace the Roland with something new but then I say to myself "why?"
