Members laidback
A while back I ran across some high quality Belden wire that looked perfect for interconnect purposes: High coverage braided shield, 2 conductor 22 or 24 ga and small overall diameter. Anybody know ehat this stuff is? What I saw was solid conductor but I assume they make the same thing in stranded.
Members LewnWorx
If it's a "busy" rack with lots of connections to be made, I use Mogami Console Interconnect wire. It's very small OD allows for a lot of lines to be bundled in not much space. You can get it by the foot from Performance Audio in any number of colors. Other folks sell the console stuff as well but not many sell it by the foot.
Members Just Mike
I work for an A/V Integration company and we use Belden 9451 for audio interconnects. It has a foil shield, but it's good enough for Disney, Universal and the government.
Members dboomer
Yep ... Belden 9451. Very easy to work with.
Members agedhorse
8451/9451 is the only wire we use for interconnects. Braided shield, especially when making hundreds of connections, is not productive and the shieldiong quality of Beldfoil is better too.
