Members Mr Blues
I brought one of these amps today and man it is so sweet sounding, I love it. After reading great reviews I thought I might try it out in the shop before i buy. I am so glad i did, what gets me is that the price was amazing, I got it for under
Members dedmeet
Did you try the Radiator or the Radiator 2? What do run through it when you tested this amp? I am mostly curious how it sounds with a decent mic and an acoustic guitar. Thanks!

Members Mr Blues
Hi dedmeet & BobbynoteI was probebly going a bit over thje top when i mentioned it was on par with the AER. i still have my AER and love it very much. I brouight the smallest ashdown acoustic amp the raidiator 1 which is 100 watts. The amp is quite bassy to start with but unlike the fishman which also has a lovely bottom end. i find with the Ashdown the XLR channel for vocals easily beats the fishman loudbox mini and loudbox artist, ( the fishmans vocal channels are not the best) Once tweaked you can get a beutiful warm almost tube like sound. its definatly worth much more then
Members Mr Blues
what I also like about this combo is that it responds really well to pedals, today i tried it with a reverb pedal the Hall of fame reverb pedal, and it really enhanced the dimision of the sound. the built in reverb is nice but adding the hall of fame through the send and return loop really brought it some sparkle.
