Members djiceman1575
Depends on what sub and what type of music you're going to be playing.
Members GCDEF
You can't really tell a whole lot by wattage alone. Which sub are you talking about?
Members StratGuy22
Get a pair of LS801p's they are pretty good.
Members RoadRanger
A pair of PRX618S-XLR would be just OK for most kinds of music. The LS801P should be great if you don't have to move them and don't need to go below 45 Hz.

Members Unalaska
Electronic dance music? 300? No. Start looking at dual 18s and not crazy power. If you're DJing a high school dance a pair of qsc's will do fine. If its at an old warehouse and there's a $20 cover then no, you should be looking at a pair of dual 18's powered at or below RMS (EDM is usually played so loud it causes ED). Hope that helps. Members dedmeet
Agree 100% with above poster. My EDM events are usually indoors for about 100 folks and a single KW181 is sufficient. Two would be better. Anything bigger and I would be renting racks and stacks with plenty of 2x18 subs.
