Harmony Central has “soft launched” our new mobile experience this past week. While we have done extensive testing, we know that with a community as large as HC that there will be items that surface that will still need to be addressed. We are asking that you utilize the thread belowto report any challenges you may encounter.         Just saying - it doesn't really work like that - but - that WAS a good one (really good) - and it is still true - that a really good sound tech is HUGE!!

              I've actually had someone approach me telling me that I was doing a ****************ty job because of how out of key the singer was... judging by other comments that came out of that drunk's mouth, I still don't know if he was serious or kidding

                I have a TC Helicon VoiceWorks with pitch correction. Usually this combined with a little more than normal reverb (and a decent channel eq) can make a marginal singer sound OK .... not quite the revolutionary sound this guy got

                I have found it interesting how many bands have mediocre singers .... with or without effects. It isn't normally that big a deal since the vocals are frequently not that clean to begin with in the mix.
