Members NUSound
A light fell on a kid during his high school wrestling match... thank God he wasn't seriously hurt, but it serves as a reminder to all the DIY'ers out there as to why you shouldn't mess with putting heavy stuff over peoples heads. Article:http://tinyurl.com/am4pakgYoutube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XE_Fu4WpWmg&t=0m56s I'd be willing to bet money that someone thought it would be absolutely awesome to have this custom spotlight for the matches... couple of ropes, maybe a chain or two, and it'll all work great! /sarcasm

Members Mutha Goose
Yeah, if that kid was standing up when that light fell, there's a very good chance that would have had a completely different outcome.
Members Miko Man
Given that the venue was a local middle school, hosting a high school wrestling tournament, I would assume it was not an IATSE job. Mark C.

Mark C. The title of the video is:"Madison Square Garden Epic Fail! light falls on wrestler"but I see another copy that says it's "Madison High School". Members StratGuy22
Looks like typical Home Depot halogen floodlights inside. Probably someone's big idea, and whipped it up in shop. The timing could have been better, or worse.
