Some manufacturers drop the ring connection which can cause problems (mostly going from 1/4" to XLR(M)) but without knowing exactly how it's configured internally, it's a guess. Members agedhorse Posted January 28, 2013 Members Share Posted January 28, 2013 Yes, either use a direct box for each channel so the you are isolated from possible damage if phantom power happens to be turned on at the board.
