Members Vito Corleone
Looking to touch up a few nicks in the finish. Anybody done this before and do they have any suggestions for what that shade-of-gray is called and/or what sort of product works best?
CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted January 29, 2013 CMS Author Share Posted January 29, 2013 The coating is called "DuraFlex" by JBL, but I saw someone on PSW claim that it's a coating made by a company called Futura. It's a 2-part epoxy system. JBL used to and may still sell a repair kit that's a dual tube mixer like you commonly see with epoxies. It's applied with a stick or knife. It's pretty pricey, like $90.Try JBl and if they no longer carry it, which is unlikely as it's used on PRX, SRX, VRX, etc. then try Futura.guido61 wrote: Looking to touch up a few nicks in the finish. Better than paint for sure but 2 part garage floor coating (in black) is just as good or better (the professionally applied stuff, not the Home Depot kits).
