Members rustybridges
Hi everyone!I'm a first time poster and long time observer. This is a great forum! so much info I needed to build my first PA system. Thanks! Anyways, I'm looking at getting the Yorkville EP1 Elite Stereo Processor for this setup:Amount: 4 | Yorkville EF500pAmount: 2 | Yorkville LS801P Should be a bangger system! done a bunch of research. I'm wondering why the processor says on yorkvilles website that its for passive subwoofers. Will it work for my LS801P or is it just usless. And if I can use it what would be the best way to connect this in my setup. How many would I need?Looking forward to your feedback!
Members agedhorse
Generally, the powered speakers have internal processing already provided.
Members rustybridges
Ya that makes sense. I can just do adjustments myself and get it sounding the way I want on board the subs and tops. Another thing I've been wondering about is putting the subwoofer's coupled in the in middle of our setup on their sides. Is it ok to up the LS801P on its side? and if so will coupling it work the same or not?
