They have all metal parts and a solid upper shaft, seem decent enough for $13 each? I can then put the booms back on the ones I'm using now and add those back into my crap stand inventory . Otherwise by the time you buy the boom you'll be at the $30 price anyway. I'm still hoping ewi will make a full size tripod stand like their shorty tripods. I'd be buying a bunch!
