  • JBL PRX 6XX line being discontinued?

I have been reading some rumblings around the web about the 600's being discontinued.  Anyone else hear this to either confirm or deny it

Curious about this myself. We planned to add two more 612m in about six months. Hopefully they are still available.

Good deals with: CRANK, Julius Caesar, nxheo, smd24fan, basshub, and Lonnie99</div>

Yeah same here. I was considering going for 2 more 612m's and maybe 2 more XLF subs at some point.

It was bound to happen. Following the passive PRX and the SRX series. Most likely we will see a non-Neo PRX replacement next NAMM show.

They've sold out of the old model without announcing a replacement??

The 400 series isn't powered... Or have they released powered 400 series?

BTW, my understanding is the PRX's sold out faster than JBL anticipated and that's the reason the replacement offering isn't ready.  No ETA is currently available.

Doh, you're absolutely right! I saw "PRX" and just assumed they were powered! I guess I've always thought the PR stood for powered. That's what you get for assuming.

Oh, and HC, all those new stupid emoticons and no face palm?

      Working...
