Providing power for everything

Since I will be adding active subs to my currently passive setup I am going to have to change some things. Currently I have my QSC GX7 and my Yamaha MG124CX mixer plugged into a Monster Pro 2500 power conditioner. The conditioner is plugged into its own wall outlet.

Now since I am going to be adding powered subs I can't just plug those into the conditioner, right? So what I am going to do is plug the subs into a power strip, then the power strip into a seperate wall outlet (not the same one as the power conditioner).

Does this all sound right? Or is there a simpler way to do this?

Plug your power amps straight in to the wall.

Lower current gear like your mix, effects etc you can use that power unit.

I just plug the amp into the power conditioner to cut down on the number of cables running around, is it fine to do that?
