Members lagunagrande
Since I will be adding active subs to my currently passive setup I am going to have to change some things. Currently I have my QSC GX7 and my Yamaha MG124CX mixer plugged into a Monster Pro 2500 power conditioner. The conditioner is plugged into its own wall outlet. Now since I am going to be adding powered subs I can't just plug those into the conditioner, right? So what I am going to do is plug the subs into a power strip, then the power strip into a seperate wall outlet (not the same one as the power conditioner).Does this all sound right? Or is there a simpler way to do this?
Members Pro Sound Guy
Plug your power amps straight in to the wall.Lower current gear like your mix, effects etc you can use that power unit.
