Members Unalaska
I bought a 2nd 01v a few years ago to use exclusively with my band in a house gig situation. Well the ch1 fader started not moving like the others or not at all so today I replaced it. Also around 2yrs ago ch12 started making kind of a pink noise/crackling sound bad. It crackles but also still passes audio though a little distorted and the constant crackling gets better the more the trim knob is opened up. Using the pad and turning the trim down makes the noise constant around -30db or so (0db being peak). Phantom power does not affect the noise, you can hear the detents in the trim knobs affect the crackling slightly as its turned. Not sure if its a bad op-amp or trim pot. It's not the AD as far as I can tell, it's before signal hits the AD converter. What's going on with it?

Members Unalaska
No, I'm more of a, uh, not educated repair person. Though not bad with a soldering gun,
