Members Binkeys
I'm looking for a small mixer to pair with my RCF powered speakers for the occasional small job, where I need to run a small acoustic instruments/vocal group through them for a song or two, like at a wedding cermony. Could be 2-5 musicians.I'd like something with decent sounding built-in digital effects, so I can add reverb when requested.Main features needed are:- Good sound/noise-free- reliability- Compact size, so I can keep it in my gig bag.- decent reverb/fx-- phantom would be nice, for the occasional string player with a mic that needs it, but isn't necessaryWhat would you suggest? Thanks!
Members Louis Schwartz
How many actual inputs would you need and what kind? Louis

Louis I'd say between 4-6 inputs at least two 1/4" and two XLR. It'd be ideal if each channel allowed for either kind.Thank you!
Members Binkeys
Thanks, folks! It's so hard to demo these in a controlled environment. So, I really appreciate your feedback!
Members B. Adams
I have a Peavey PV10 that I use for stuff like that. 6 XLR inputs (with insert jacks), 2 stereo line inputs. 1 aux for monitors, 1 internal effects that sound pretty good.It sounds great, and I got it for about $125 used. Members OneEng
Another +1 for the ZED . Outstanding little mixer with really good sound. Also built like a tank.
Members dedmeet
And yet another +1 for the Zed 10FX. My mini-rig is a 10FX in a gator case; mixer on top, EQ, wireless mic, and power amp below. Mixer rack in front seat, speakers in back seat, wires and stands in the trunk. Done many a wedding, small event, and a very small band or two with this mixer/rig combo.
