Well, when I was using a Traynor column for a monitor back in the late 70's I'm sure I did something similar. I've also more recently used "audio wood" painted black for various other cabs to angle them.

Ok anyone notice the ladders on each side, and the tarp thing?

The ladder/tarp thing stood out over the sound pile.

Yep. It almost looks like the whole truss is made out of ladders . That can't be - can it?

Not a lot of people crowding the stage.

        Big surprise.

I like the "front fills", and the fact that the canopy rigging is cross-braced.

First time seeing this photo for me. At first glance I'm thinking RR is putting everyone on. NOBODY would actually do that.........................would they?  Wow, just don't know how to describe that scene.

I don't either - although we're about the same age so maybe it's CRS   . I do remember similar pile'o'crap PA's but the Kustom column "monitors", ladder "trusses", canopy of death and center clustered power amps really "bring it home" .

I remember seeing it. And then I remember trying to find it later on.

Never did find it again. It might have been at PSW

Yes, I remember seeing this too. It's been a while though.

They could have purchased four 12 foot step ladders open them up and put two step ladders on each side of the stage with a 10ft plank put across on the top step and plopped that piles up in the air on the planks.

If the band's name is "Chutes and Ladders" would that legitimize their backdrop (the chute) and trusses (the ladders)? That's just good production.

I'm here all week. Try the veal.
