Members RoadRanger
Is it just me or does this look stoopid to any of you too? Those are SRM450, I assume it's a wedding...

The disco ball does give the place that "measles outbreak" look though : What do others do? I'd think a "sock" over the pole and a shroud just over the legs would do but I guess the full shroud is better at keeping the drunks from tripping over your stands? Members Axisplayer
A wedding planner that needs a new career. Just plain stupid...REALLY stupid. At that point, I take the toys and go home.

I'm hoping Bill will chime in as he does some upper-crust events and I've not seen anything he's posted that didn't look great .

Members Pro Sound Guy
I prefer the idea of loudspeakers "disappearing" in the backround, and not calling attention to them. The lights should focus on the waterbags dancing
Members Koopdaddy
I like the truss socks, but not the speaker tripod spandex triangle. It just looks weird
Members Sick boy78
Meh. For a wedding it's probably better than the stand alone. Plus, it might have a nice effect with lights. But yeah, over all it's fugly as hell. I'm not partial to stands at all, even dressed.
Members agedhorse
Wow, looks like a KKK. Who thought that was a good idea? Ugly doesn't even begin to describe how they look IMO.
Members RoadRanger
BTW what's wrong with putting the tripods behind the DJ table?I generally use my $150 white B208D's at weddings even outdoors - but they've been for older (second plus marriages?) people not looking for stoopid loud. Members StratGuy22
Keep it simple, keep it clean. Here's my $700 indoor DJ setup. http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z398/robare99/B73F61A1-3BCB-4199-BA0C-D42D4277C2DC-10291-000006D5755DA20D.jpg
Members Shaster
Wow, those shrouds passed Silly Town a few hundred miles back. And as noted they still have those big ugly black speakers on top. They actually look like some alien creature from Dr. Who. Just really wrong.I like the DJ rigs that come off looking like a mini concert rig. Or the ones that are just simple and clean.I don't know who they think they are fooling. I wonder if they put shrouds and draping over the exit signs and elevators. Maybe they should make the plain looking waiters wear George Clooney masks...
