  • OT: Stair climbing hand truck

My shop has a PowerMate stair climbing hand truck that is collecting dust. Does anyone on here have a use for one? I'm totally up for trades on the thing.

Sorry if this is inappropriate but I know it wouldnt get any hits in the for sale forum, partially cause I have no clue where to post it. If anyone is interested in it PM me. We bought it about 3 years ago thinking it would get more use that it gets. Has under 2 hours of use on the thing.

I first thought you meant the ones with three wheels a side. The only time I ever saw one of those was in Switzerland decades ago.

The PowerMate looks interesting but I think I've got more toys, I mean tools, than I need.

This thing is great when its needed. I pulled a wood stove insert out of my house and down a flight of stairs by myself. The problem is it just doesnt get used enough.

              I could totally use this.

If not for 2000 miles between it and me...

                        Where are you located?

Is this stair climber still available?

                        Is it easy to use?

I have a larger powermate stair climber. It works great but it is too big and heavy for what I use it for. It is recommended for up to 1500 lbs. The most I use it for is 200 lbs. So I am looking for a smaller, lighter one that might be easier to use.

Are you interested in selling the one that is too heavy, and for how much?
