Members dbMontana Posted January 29, 2014 Members Share Posted January 29, 2014 The pre AI versions (ie. most of them in service) require a computer (laptop being the most common/convenient) with specific FireWire chips for connecting to the StudioLive. That computer then needs to be connected to a router. My understanding is that the new AI models can connect directly to the router. Edit/Addition: A computer is still required for recording.
