mic splitter necessities for separate IEM mixer

I can't get search to work, so I created new topic. I want to use A&H QUsb as a dedicated IEM mixer. I want to purchase a stage box or rack mount splitter snake. I've read a lot. How important, in your opinions, are transformers and ground lifts on these splitter snakes? Other discussions seem to be all over the map, with wide ranging opinions.

It depends.

If you have noise problems between the two consoles without transformer isolation of the second console, they become VERY important. As a provider having to interface with a wide variety of systems, all of my splitters and snake systems had transformer isolated feeds.

Thanks, Andy. Mark Hellinger told me to get your opinion. I love your suggested settings for my SRX system.

I live in Auburn,CA. Do you still live outside Sacramento? Got any used PA gear that you are no longer using and could sell?
