Members Telecruiser
I want to get out and do some busking with a Roland Cube EX. I thought it would lighten the load with a headset mic instead of lugging a mic, mic stand etc.. Any recommendations in the $200-$300 range? Members Telecruiser
Wired or wireless? Wired I'm looking seriously at the Shure SM35-XLR. Good price point for me. I know I stated a higher price range but this one might be what I'm looking for.
Members BillESC
There are so many to choose from. Disregard the prices listed. http://www.audio-technica.com/cgi-bin/product_search/wired_mics/mics_by_type.pl?product_type=Microphones%3A+Headworn&lang=eng
Members Ed Storer
I have always liked the A-T setups. While I don't have personal experience with it, the PRO 8HEx looks like it would be a good choice. It doesn't require phantom power and has a nice configuration. If you are running an amp that will supply phantom power, IME, condenser mics tend to give a truer response than dynamic mics. I don't have a suggestion there, but as I said, I've had good experience with the brand and wouldn't go near any headset from Shure.
Members BillESC
The Pro8 sells for $ 79. I'd suggest looking at the ATM73a or the ATM75. Both come with a battery power module for phantom power if needed.
