Members wesg Posted July 13, 2017 Members Share Posted July 13, 2017 Hey, I have a Beta 57 (the old one, with the magnesium grille) that I really like. It doesn't work any more - just kind of hums. Thinking maybe there is an open connection inside, have not really looked. Is there any service documentation for this mike? How about parts? I can't seem to find either. It's probably just an element, some passives, and a transformer? Shure flat-rate repair is not available in Canada, and I'm not sure paying a tech's bench time plus shipping both ways is worth it, so professional repair may not be a smart option.
