Members agedhorse Posted June 6, 2016 Members Share Posted June 6, 2016 This is a good question, there is an incompatibility between the Audio Technica 2000 and 3000 series components even though they can operate on identical frequencies. There are superimposed functions that utilize control signals that may not be compatible, in this case the tone squelch mute signals are different and the 2000 receiver will not unmute with a 3000 series transmitter, even though you can lock onto the RF carrier, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
