Members cappttenron
A band I work with has practice at the guitarist's home. We use a presonus digital board and we a have ground loop problem ( I think) I cant seem to overcome in the practice room. I have tried the normal solutions lifting the ground and pulling juice out of just one outlet but its still there. I have a sub crossed at 100hz and the noise only will come out of the sub. There is some track lighting in the next room though any suggestions? I have checked the outlet and seems to be grounded properly based on my outlet checker. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Members onelife
Have you tried a different cable? Does the noise come out of the sub with nothing plugged into it? Are you feeding your sub directly from the mixer? if so, what happens if you have only the sub and the mixer connected together?
Members abzurd
If the above tips don't isolate the issue, grab a long extension cord and plug into an outlet in the house that's on a different circuit (try a few). That's a quick way to tell if that particular circuit is causing the noise and easier than moving everything to test.

Members agedhorse
Sometimes, transformer isolation of the audio is the only practical solution.
