Would these be an upgrade for floor monitors?

I'm currently using 4 Yamaha Clubs. SM115V model. I power them with a Yorkville PX1700 amp and I use a Touchmix 16 mixer. I don't mind these as they seem bullet proof but they are heavy and big for small stages.

 

There are some Yorkville NX55p speakers for sale on local Craigslist. The guy wants $700 for both. If I could find two more I could have 4 separate monitor mixes which I'm not sure is even necessary on the smaller stages around here. Much lighter and I've read much better sound quality. I've read a few problems where these develop rattles over the long term.

 

There is also a sale at the local music store where I could get Alto TS210s for $329 each. Even lighter but is the sound quality and reliabilty there?

It all depends on how stoopid loud you need them to be? I use 10" coaxial monitors to keep the space and weight down but those clubs can get WAY louder and lower if you care about that...

+1 to what RoadRanger said. You can do waaaaaay better on the price for those Altos, by the way.

Did you mean $229 each? $329 is way over MAP, and just under list price. Doesn't sound like much of a "sale" to me.
