Members Mike M
The rig that I use most often uses the following: - A&H Mixwiz3- DBX2231's (to eq the main outs plus the monitors...I also use the compression feature on my monitors) My question: Does the QU-16 have compression available on the aux sends? Looking through the online literature I am a bit confused (it doesn't take much to confuse me).....there is so much. If the unit has this feature I will purchase it within the next couple of weeks and have about a month to tinker with it before its first use. Users, please advise. Thanks, Mike M

Members Art Flood
Not sure compression on your monitors is a good idea. Makes it more prone to feedback unless your very gentle with the makeup gain. Cheers

Members Art Flood
I guess it would be useful for IEMs.
Members WynnD
It's nice to have compression on every output. It's nice to have gates and compression on every input channel. figuring out when and how to use them is what makes one sound engineer different from another. And yea, compression on IEMs makes sense to me. It might also make some level of sense if your monitors are being driven by too much amp. (Really should never get that loud in that use. Limiter might be a better option here.)
