Finally buggered up one of my RCF 310A's LOL

I think this one's been crackling a bit when pushed for a couple years (since that gig covering 1000 outdoors) but at a LOUD outdoor gig yesterday it finally got totally unusable. I replaced it with a Behringer B208D I carry as a spare and was surprised that it did an OK job, almost kept up with the other RCF 310A ! Quite different sound though. Anyways I have another at home that has a broken volume pot (came that way from fleaBay) - I'm sure I can swap stuff and figure out what's cooked. Anybody ever had one of the neo 10's reconed (if that's the problem) ? OTOH could just be a loose connection - these boxes aren't SMPS or Class "D" so repairable by a normal person ;) . It is still working at lower volumes AFAIK . Oh, and I also have a couple of the newer SMPS Class "D" non-Neo RCF 310A's - maybe I'll just start using them, dunno if I've even powered them us since they came from fleaBay ...
