Members nchangin
Howdy folks. I have a Dodge Nitro with 110 v ac on it. I am wondering if it's possible to run a pair of ZLX's off of it? Question one: I believe it's rated at 150 watts max on the sticker. Am I correct on the calculations divide the 150 watts (P) by 110 V (E) so current would be approximately 1.3xx amps? Question two: It's a two prong only, so the only solution would be to use a cheater plug. Can this damage the speakers by not using a 3 prong plug in? Question three: The ZLX manual says nothing about the wattage and.or current it consumes that I can find, how would one find out this information or calculate this? Thank you to all for input if this is even possible!

Members RoadRanger
You might be able to run a single one at low volumes on a good day. 150w is really low though - I use a 600w inverter for a powered speaker or two myself.
Members monthlymixcd
I have a power tap in my 2013 Ford Escape, too... but I'd never use it for live sound reinforcement, unless I wanted my speakers to...
