Depending on the style of fader, it's either a candidate for a fader rebuild (if it uses guide dowels) or replacement. Spraying conventional faders usually causes more problems than it solves, even using the right material.

The problem with tryingto lube faders that are conventional style is that the lube needs to be spearate from the conductive track. 2 different materials involved. The cost of doing it right on these types of faders is greater than just buying new faders. On the dowel style, the cost ofthe part is much higher so the added lable is justified in some cases.
