Members Stuurm
Hi all Looking for a bit of help. I know it's not the best solution for a PA, but the husband of the singer in my jazz band has bought the Roland BA-330 for her (he is of course, without knowledge in the field - and probably told the salesman that she does small intimate gigs. Me, I'd love to play the Opera House if I could I need to find a wedge monitor solution so we can use the main roland speaker for front-of-house duties. Does anyone know if I can run a passive speaker out of it, or whether I need to get another little powered speaker to run as a wedge monitor? The manual is not much help, beyond advising to get a second BA-330 to run "in stereo". Thanks Neill (more a guitar-player than sound-man)
Members jonthomas
You will need a powered speaker, I would look at getting a EV ZLX 12p as a main and use the Roland as a monitor.
Members Stuurm
Thanks for that - I suspected as much, but I wanted to make sure. I'll look into that EV solution. Cheers Neill
