Members Telecruiser Posted March 9, 2014 Members Share Posted March 9, 2014 My daughter is getting married and she has a DJ with no equipment except the player etc. I have two JBL 612's, two 635's and two 618XLF's. Members nchangin Posted March 9, 2014 Members Share Posted March 9, 2014 The 612's if your putting them up on poles over subs, they will get the horns up higher than the 635 sitting on the subs. If you can elevate the 635 to a decent height I would probably think the 3 way would give you a better overall sound. Or run both, use the 635 elevated then use the 12" for monitors/side splay if it's a large venue. DJ's need monitors sometimes too, hard to hear how loud it is back there not being @ FOH. Must be a club DJ I assume? I would make sure the outputs on his/her system is using balanced outputs, if not use a DI. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
