Members Loner Posted September 19, 2012 Members Share Posted September 19, 2012 If anyone remembers, I joined this forum a few months back to get advice on a new program to replace my aging QY700 sequencer. After weighing all the options you folks gave me, I went with what I wanted anyway! Mostly because of 12 months same as cash at Sweetwater. At the end of July I bought Ableton Live 8 and a laptop. After much studying, tech support sessions and trial and error, I think I am finally starting to get it figured out. I've got about 25 of my old songs with program changes for my MIDI stuff transferred over to it (out of 250 songs). This has been in the last 2 weeks, since I haven't had much time to work on it. The main breakthrough was getting the laptop online so I could update the program. This made many of my problems go away. I just wanted you all to know how things were going.
