You could use a looper pedal from boss or digitech. Create or grab the sound you want and store it in the onboard memory or the sd card of the unit.

This wouldn't really work with a Boss unless I'm missing something. You'd have to bend down to switch the patch number if you were using the pedal to loop in most cases.

Hey Guys (and Gals)

I want to find or make a foot pedal switch that will "bleep" me and cut out my mic (or at least cover it up).

Any ideas?

just make one, all you need is a XLR in, an XLR out and a stomp switch wired between the signal lead...some wire, some solder...and a box.

Sort of like the Sign Off from ProCo idea- one of these:

with your mic on one input and one of these:

in the other.  Set it for a 1Khz tone and when you switch to the B input it will sound like your bleeping yourself!  I haven't tried it and personally, but you may have to change out the foot switch to a momentary switch (contact RDL,they've always been helpful and know their products well) and possibly find a way to adjust the volume on the signal generator.  Another option for that, although not as sleek, might be one of these instead:

How about the "low Tech approach"...a bulb horn set is near on mic stand or pedal board, where ever is convenient, and the bulb stepped on as needed...if not loud enough "acoustically", a small inexpensive mic can be installed...
