I didn't see if money was involved but the lead singer was determined to comply. So whilst the rest of the band started busking the tune, he got out his smart phone, looked up the lyrics and then balanced the phone on the upper bout of his acoustic guitar and went back to singing/playing whilst reading from it. . We were just in TN in 2015...I'm not sure this is the best time of year there, though, but it is a very interesting state with unique bits of American history... Members steve mac Posted December 24, 2017 Author Members Share Posted December 24, 2017 Not planning on Memphis this time, we were there a few years ago to see Gracelands but meaning no disrespect, didn't take to the town and Beale St was in our opinion not in the same league as other cities "music" streets ie Burbon in New Orleans, Mathew St in Liverpool or 6th in Austin.
