Same guy (not the owner) booked us both. What's to do? a) be Mr. Nice Guy and let it slideb) be Mr. Whatever and insist that if anyone gets bumped, it's not mec) ???? And ask for another booking and confirm it with them in writing [e-mail at least] so there is no question as to who booked you and when. If you really don't care about playing there then advise the person who booked you that you were booked first [obviously they don't remember ]. If that fails tell them you passed on another gig because you were booked, so to be fair, they should pay you 1/2.
