Members fingerpicker
Does anyone have a way of doing this? I know there must be some software (maybe freeware) that has a tempo slider.

Members Shaster
Thanks for answering your own question - those links might be useful to me as well. I know that some of the ones that change the key but keep the tempo seem to do something to the sound quality. It will be interesting to see how it works the other way around. Well, there's no free lunch. I use "Amazing Slow Downer" to both tune and tempo adjust. Yes, there's an audible effect but it's not deal-killing bad. Examples: My Favorite things at speed and My Favorite Things at 87% speed
Members Rocketking
Just use KaraFun (v1 is the easiest to use imo) You can record your altered version.
