Members Sceiron
Hi. I use little MIDI. I am using the sequencer in my 777 to trigger the Q+. I am using the Q+ to control the MicroWave XT rack. Both worked perfect by jus plugging in a MIDI cable. (thank God... or' I'd a been here) I want to be able to control both units with the 777. Is there a possible solution? Am I even making sence? Do I need to purchase some special MIDI unit? thanks.
Members Sinner6
I do this all the time. 777 goes into computer, use MIDI OX to re route the signal back out to my M-audio 2x2 and control synths from there. If the Q+ has a MIDI thru you can use that to echo the 777's signal out to the microwave.
Members jchas
If you want to control both with the 777, but continueto control the XT with the Q+, independently from the 777you may need to pickup a MIDI-Merger (Anatek has alittle one for about $30). Plug the output of the 777 intothe Q+. Plug the MIDI-OUT and MIDI-THRU of the Q+ intothe merger. Plug the ouput of the merger into the MIDI-IN of the XT. Now the 777 will play both units and the Q+can drive the XT directly.
