Members protues9
Reason sounds pretty nice.. I was playing with it at a friends house the other day .. Can reason be run from fruity loops? Would I need some sort of midi yoke program? I use fruity loops quite a bit, with vstation and a few other vstis, and I'd hate to get into a "one or the other" situation .. Members protues9
I guess in that sense i'd be using fruity loops as an instrument in reason? I was thinking the other way .. lol Come to think of it Id on't even know if Reason is a VSTI host
Members keanu reeves
nononono.. reason wont support VSTs.. you will have to rewire reason into friutyloops.
Members protues9
That's what I thought / wanted. The website is talking about how you can wire fruity into and other vst host.. lol
Members fleizenkruz
one thing i like about reason is the RV7000 niiiiice reverb..... even fruity's internal reverb plugin is no match for it... but then again, i like the freedom to choose.... and with reason having no support for vst instriments.... baaad
Members protues9
I couldt agree more .. I brought up some of the demo songs and was blown away .. But I just can't give in to iron fisted proprietary software.
Members humanliteshow
It's less to do with being iron fisted and more to do with providing the most stable, cpu efficient package across as many platforms as possible. That isn't a feasible goal if you open up to VSTs. Just use another sequencer like Tracktion to tie them all together.
