Members shawngibson
I guess the title says it, can I put a Roland pickup (the newest one, I forget it's called, I'm at work right now - the box however is the GI-20) on my Universe, on the lowest string (for Trilogy and synth work) and just lose the high E? Is the Roland pickup EXPECTING a low-E and EADGBE in general? It's on my Dinky right now, but I like the Universe much, much more and want to switch over to it for MIDI. I'm tuned down a tone from standard (ADGCFAD), but I don't think that would be an issue, if this is to work... No sense pulling my Dinky if it ain't going to work. Uh...yeah. Members DanielRaible
Yes, it will work great. I've even tuned as low as F with no significant midi tracking problems.
