Members filtersweep Posted December 20, 2008 Members Share Posted December 20, 2008 Seems I am suddenly able to hear music from any mp3 link. I can navigate to the page OK but just get a blank page. No player starts up, no sound happens. I have no problems listening to files off of say SoundClick or other sites. Problem only occurs when linking directly to an mp3. I must have changed a setting somewhere but haven't been able to figure out. Using IE7. Any thoughts?? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Members Yoozer Posted December 20, 2008 Members Share Posted December 20, 2008 Deinstall Quicktime? It's pretty notorious for trying to take over everything, including mp3 files. Also, open up My Computer, go to Tools > Folder Options, File Types tab and see if anything's associated with mp3 files. Of course Soundclick works, but that's because they use a Flash-based player.
