It does sound a bit different though, kinda like the original line was recorded at double speed and an octave higher, then played back at half speed. You can try recreating it with the TB-303 emulation in Propellerheads ReBirth software - it's a free download. Just crank up the distortion - it will get close to that sound. None of the ones you mentioned will have anything close to the nasal-sounding diode filter of a 303. Whatever it is, it's one of the coolest synth-bass sounds I think I've ever heard. I think it's a saw-tooth with something that's keeping the oscillation of the "saw" constant - regardless of its pitch... plus phaser. I tried emulating that constant oscillation using a "bit crusher" plug-in (I read this suggestion on a different forum) and I just wound up with something that sounded like crap.
